Big Kitty, Recolored

The drawing is from 2010, and the line art and a simpler color version are in my folder in the Twin Studios group.  I don't remember why I only posted it to that folder and not in my gallery here.  I wanted to re-do the colors; the older one is not bad, but it's very basic, just light-shadow transitions.  I tried something different with this one, creating a new light and dark separation and then layering both lighter and darker regions on it.  It's an approach I'll try again because I think it has some promise.
